WWF is the organization for the conversation for environment started in 1961.

Its original meaning is 'World Wildlife Fund'.

But they changed its name to 'World Wide Fund For Nature' in 1986 to reflect the scope of its activities.

Their mission is

1) conserving the world’s biological diversity

2) ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable

3) promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

The British biologist Sir Julian Huxly made people know the seriousness of pollution. And the business man V.Stolan stressed the need for WWF.
