​An electric scooter or e-scooter is a vehicle that runs on electricity. It is silent and easy to ride. People can buy or rent them. They are a cheap form of transportation, but they cause many problems. One of the key problems is that e-scooters are dangerous. Nowadays, riders must wear helmets, they must have a license and the e-scooters must make noises to alert pedestrians and other vehicles but the biggest danger remains : battery explosions. Battery explosions have happened all over the world, from India to China and Korea. In most cases, the explosions occurred when someone was riding or charging them. The three reasons for the explosions are, 1) faulty batteries; 2) illegal tuning; and 3) illegal scooters. In conclusion, even though e-scooters are cheap and convenient, they can also be dangerous.
