- The next day was the cowardly Lionm's turn.

The Lion asked Oz to give him courage, but Oz said exactly the same thing as it did to Dorothy, Scarecrow, and the Tim Man.

The Lion went sadly back to him friends.

The \icked Witch

The four friends left the Emerald City behind.

Now the Wicked Witch of the West had only one eye, but that eye saw everything.
-지금 못된 마녀는 오직 하나의 눈을 가지고 있지만, 그 눈은 모든 것을 본다.
And from her castle she saw Dorothy and her friends, a long way away.
-그리고 그녀의 성까지 가려면 도로시와 그녀의 친구들은, 많이 걸어야했다.
She called her forty great gray wolves to her.
-그녀는 그녀에게 수십마리의 늑대들을 불렀다.
"Go," she said, "and bite them into little pieces!"

The Scarecrow and the Tin Man heard the noise of the molves.

- The Scarecrow saw them first.

- Others caught the Scarecrow and pulled out all his straw.
