- Well, right away the little girl saw his mistake.
근데, 그때 여자아이는 바로 그의 실수를 알아차렸다.
The fisherman forgot to count himself.
그 어부는 자기 자신을 세지 않았던 것이다.
"Will you give me your fish if I find your friend?" she asked.
"아저씨의 친구를 찾아주면 아저씨의 물고기를 나에게 줄수 있어요?" 아이는 물었다.
"Yes! Yes!" they said.
"응! 응!" 그들은 말했다.
"Now jump into the river one at time," the little girl told them.
"그럼 이제 한명씩 강속으로 뛰어들어요," 어린 여자아이는 그들에게 말했다.
"And I will count you."
"그리고 내가 아저씨들을 세볼게요."
The fishermen did as they were told.
어부들은 여자아이가 말한대로 하였다.
Splash! Into the river they went.
풍덩! 강속으로 그들은 뛰어들었다.
One! Two! Three! Four! Five!
하나! 둘! 셋! 넷! 다섯!
"Five!" the fishermen shouted.
"다섯!" 어부는 외쳤다.
"Our lost friend is find! He did not drown after all!"
"잃어버린 친구를 찾았어! 그는 빠져죽은게 아니였어!"
The fishermen gave the little girl all their nice fat fish.
어부들은 모두 작은 소녀에게 그들의 뚱뚱하고 멋진 물고기들을 주었다.
Then home they went.
그리고 집으로 돌아갔다.
They were very wet. They had no fish for supper.
그들은 모두 물에 젖었다. 저녁을 위한 생선도 없었다.
But they were all together again!

"The best ones are over here. Come on, Beth. Don't be scared. Just walk across- it's easy."
"그 최고의 것이 이 곳이야. 이리 와, 베스. 무서워하지마. 그 순간에 걸어서 건너는 거야-쉬워."

"He will never catch that rabbit.

I told her, even though I was scared too.

"Hot stuff!" said Molly.
