- The crow had stolen a lump of cheese.
까마귀는 치즈 덩어리를 훔쳐서 가지고 있었다.
She was feeling very pleased with herself.
그녀는 그 여자보다 매우 기쁘게 느겼다.
"I'd like that cheese for myself," thought the fox.
"나도 그 치즈를 좋아하는데," 여우가 생각하였다.
He stopped under the tree and started to tell the crow how lovely she looked.
그는 나무 아래에 멈춰서 그녀를 사랑스럽게 보면서 까마귀에게 말하였다.

- "Wow! I've never seen a bird as stunning as you. You have such pretty feathers..."
"와우! 나는 절대로 너를 기절할 만큼 보지않았어. 너는 예쁜 깃털을 가지고 있구나..."
The crow believed every word.
까마귀는 그 말을 믿었다.
"I suppose I am quite beautiful," she thought.
"나는 내가 완전히 아름답다고 추측해," 그녀는 생각하였다.
"I bet you have an amazing voice as well," continued the fox.
"나는 너 또한 굉장한 목소리를 가지고 있다고 확신해," 여우가 계속 말하였다.
"I do!" thought the crow, wanting to show off her voice.
"나 역시!" 까마귀가 소리쳤다, 그녀의 목소리가 나오는 것이 보였다.
She opened her beak and gave a loud"caw".
그녀는 그녀의 부리가 열어 버렸다. 그리고 "caw"거리면서 울었다.
Out dropped the cheese, straight into the fox's mouth.
치즈가 떨어져서 일직선으로 여우의 입안으로 들어갔다.
"Yum!"
"음!"
And the moral is... Don't be fooled by flattery.
그리고 교훈은... 어리석게 아첨을 믿지 말아라.

It was too hot to prowl, so the king of the jungle lay snoozing in the sun.
날씨가 너무 더워서 찾아 해매수가 없었다. 정글왕은 태양아래에 누워서 잠을 잤다.
