- "Spirit that haunts this dark lagoon. Can you hear me?"
"어두운 작은 늪에 종종 유령이 출물해. 너도 들었지?"
Peter answered.
피터가 대답 하였다.
His voice sounded just like Hook's.
그의 목소리가 후크와 같은 목소리였다.
"I hear you!"
"나는 너를 들어!"
The pirates were very afraid.
해적들은 매우 드려워했다.
"Who are you?" Hook demanded.
"너는 누구니?" 후크가 물었다.
"Speak!"
"말해!"
"I am Peter Pan."
"나는 피터팬이야."
Hook nearly choked because he was so angry.
후크는 질식 할뻔 했다. 왜냐하면 그는 매우 화가 났기때문이다.
"Get into the water, Smee!" he yelled.
물에 집어 넣을 거야, 스미스!" 그는 고함쳤다.
"Get him!" Hook and teh pirates all jumped in the water.
"그를 대려와!" 후크와 해적들 모두 물속으로 뛰어들어갔다.
Afer a while, Hook climbed back onto teh rock.
그 뒤에, 후크는 돌 뒤로 올라갔다.
Peter did too.

- Both reached for something to hold onto.

Then, their hands touched.

Captain Hook tried to hit Peter with his hook.

But then the he heard a sound that terrified him.

"The crocodile!" Hook cried out in fear.

Then he swam like a fish for his boat.

Peter and Wendy lay on Marooners' Rook.
피터와 웬디는 Maroonerdml 바위에 누웠다.
They needed to go home.
그들은 돌아갈 집이 필요하다.
But they were both too tired to fly.
하지만 그들 둘다 지친 체로 날고 있다.
They also noticed that the water was getting higher and higher.
그들 또한 더높은 더높은 곳에서 물을 얻는것에 주목하였다.
Out in the water, the Never Bird saw that Wendy and Peter were in trouble.
물밖에서, Never Bird와 웬디와 피터는 고생을 보았다.

- The Never Bird was a huge creature that lived in the water.

The bird brought her nest over to Wendy and Peter.

She gently put them into her nest and floated them over the water.

Then she placed Wendy and Peter onto the ground.

They were safe!
그들은 안전했다.
That evening, the boys talked about the day's adventures.

But the biggest adventure of all was staying up past bedtime.

"Go to bed!" said Wendy at last.

And the boys happily obeyed.

Peter had saved Tiger Lily.
피터는 Tiger Lily를 구했다.
Now the Indians would do anything for him.

They protected his underground home.
그들은 그의 지하의 집을 보호하고 있다.
Down below, the boys were having their supper.
아래에는, 소년들이 저녁을 먹고 있다.
Peter and Wendy were happily looking at them.
피터와 웬디는 그들을 행복하게 바라보았다.
Soon, it was bed time.
곧, 잘시간이다.
The lost boys asked for their favorite story.
소년들은 그들의 마음에 드는 이야기들을 물었다.
"There once was a gentleman," Wendy began.

"His name was Mr. Darling. His wife was Mrs. Darling."

"I know them!" said john.

"They had three children," Wendy continued.

- "One day, the children flew away to Neverland."

"What a good story!" said the First Twin.

"But think of their poor parents," said Wendy.
"하지만 그들의 가난한 부모라고 생각해," 웬디가 말했다.
"They must have missed their children."
"그들은 그들의 아이들을 놓을 수있어다."
Wendy continuned the story, "Their mother loved them very much. And she always left the window open. All they had to do was just to fly right in."
웬디는 이야기를 계속했다, "그들의 엄마를 그들을 매우 사랑해. 그리고 그녀는 늘 왼쪽의 창문을 열어나. 그들은 모두 정직해."
"You're wrong about mothers, Wendy," said Peter.

The boys looked startled.
소년들은 깜짝 놀랐다.
"I used to think like you," said Peter.

- "I thought my mother would keep the window open forver. So I stayed away for many months. Then one day I flew back. The window was locked. Another boy was in my bed."

The story frightened the children.
그 이야기에 아이들은 놀랬다.
"Wendy!" cried John.
"웬디!" John이 외쳤다.
"Let's go home."
"집으로 가."
"All right," said Wendy.
"좋아," 웬디가 말했다.
"Let's go right now." Peter couldn't believe his ears!
"당장 가." 피터의 눈은 진실이 아니였다!
Wendy and her brothers wanted to go back to their parents!
웬디와 그녀의 남동생들은 그들의 부모한테 돌아 갈기 원했다.
But the boys didn't want to lose their mother.
하지만 소년들은 그들의 엄마를 잃는 것을 바라지 않았다.
"We won't let you go!" said one.
"우리는 너에게 시키지 않을게!" 모두가 말했다.
"Let's throw her in jail!" said another.
"그녀를 감옥에 넣자!" 다른애들이 말했다.
The boys looked so sad.

"Why not come with us? My mother and father can adopt you."

"Can we, Peter?" asked the boys.
"할수있지, 피터?" 소년들이 물었다.
"Alright." But Wendy saw the look on Peter's face.
"맞아." 하지만 웬디는 피터의 얼굴을 보았다.
She knew that he felt bad.
그녀는 그를 나쁘게 느꼈다.
"come with us, Peter," she said.
"우리들과 같이 가자, 피터" 그녀가 말했다.
"No," said Peter, "I'm not going with you."
"아니," 피터가 말했다, "나는 너와 같이 안갈거야."
"But we could find your mother."
"하지만 우리는 너의 엄마를 찾자줄수있어."
"No. I just want to be a little boy and have fun forever," said Peter.

Just then, the ground above them shook.

The pirates and the Indians were fighting!
해적들과 인디언들이 싸우고 있다!
Wendy put her arms around the boys.

The boys wondered who had won.

They had attacked in the dark, and they had won.
그들은 어둠속에서 공격하고 그들이 이겼다.
The captain then tiptoed to a tree and listened to the sounds from below.
선장은 그때 나무에 가까이 가서 그안으로부터 나는 소리에 귀를 기울였다.
He heard Peter talking.
그는 피터가 말하는것을 들었다.
"Let's listen," said Peter.
"들어보자," 피터가 말했다.
"The Indians always beat their tom-toms when they win."
"인디언들이 항상 통통치면 그들이 이긴거야."
Hook whispered to Smee.
후크와 스미스는 속삭였다.
Smee smiled.
스미스는 웃었다.
Then he picked up a tom-tom, and he began to drum.
그때 그는 북을 들어서 퉁퉁 치기시작하였다.
"The tom-tom!" cried Peter.
"북소리다!" 피터가 외쳤다.
"The Indians have won!"
"인디언들이 이겼다!"
The children cheered.
어린이들은 환호하였다.
It was safe for them to go up now.
이것은 현제 그들이 오는거로부터 안전하다.
But they couldn't because it was past their bedtime.
하지만 취침시간이 지난 뒤부터 이므로 그것은 아니였다.
That night, the lost boys found it hard to sleep.
그밤에, 소년들은 잠들기힘들었다.

- They wanted to go and celebrate with the Indians.

One by one, the boys came up to look for them.

The pirates easily caught the children as they came up.
해적들은 쉽게 어린이들을 잡을 수있었다.
They carried them off to the Jolly Roger, the pirates' ship.
그들은 그들의 배인 졸리로저로 끌려갔다.
Captain Hook went undergroiund to find Peter.
후크선장은 피터를 찾으려고 지하로 갔다.
Beside him was a cup of milk.
그의 곁에 우유한잔이 있었다.
Hook always carried a small bottle of poison.
후크는 항상 작은 독병을 들고 있다.
He put five drops into the cup of milk.
그는 우유한잔에 다섯방울을 넣었다.
Then he climed back up the tree.
그다음에 그는 나무뒤로 올라갔다.
Luckily for Peter, Tinker Bell saw everything.
피터는 운좋게도 팅커벨이 모든것을 보았다.
When Hook left, she knocked over Peter's cup.
후크엎에서 그녀는 피터의 컵을 쳤다.
"Peter! Peter!" said Tinker Bell.
"피터! 피터!" 팅커벨이 말하였다.
"The pirates have captured Wendy and the boys! He took them to the Jolly Roger."
"해적들이 웬디와 소년들을 대려갔어! 그는 졸리로저로 갔어."

- Peter's heart beat loudly.
피터의 심자에 크게 외쳤다.
He couldn't believe it!

Peter ran through the forest.
피터는 숲을 통해 달렸다.
He could see clearly because the moon was full.
그는 달이 곽찬있는것을 분명히 보았다.
Peter was happy.
피터는 행복했다.
He was off on another adventure!
그는 다른 모험으로 떠났다.
He had too save Wendy and the children from Captain Hook.
그는 후크선장으로부터 웬디와 아이들을 구할려고 한다.
Wendy was tied to the mast of the Jolly Roger.
웬디는 졸리 로저호의 기둥에 묶여있다.
The lost boys were about to be thrown into the sea.
소년들은 바다로 던져질지 모른다.
Captain Hook said to Wendy, "So, my beauty. Are you ready to see your boys thrown into the sea?"
후크선장은 웬디에게 말했다,"나의 미인이여. 너는 너의 동생들이 바다안으로 던져지는것을 볼 준비가 되었니?"
Suddenly, he stopped moving.
갑자기, 그는 멈추었다.
TICK TICK TICK TICK
똑딱 똑딱
"Hide me!" yelled Hook.
"나는 숨겨!" 후크가 고함쳤다.
The pirates gathered around their captain.
해적들은 그들의 선장주변으로 모였다.
The lost boys ran to the ship's said to see the crocodile.
소년들은 배의 측면으로 달려갔는데 악어를 보았다.
But it wasn't a crocodile.
하지만 이것은 악어가 아니다.
It was Peter Pan!
이것은 피터펜이였다.
