He asked me to be friends again, but I couldn't forgive him.

Later, I was sorry, but he didn't speak to me again.

The next day, Marilla went to the doctor's.
다음날, 마릴라는 의사에게 갔다.
When she came back, she looked tired and sick.

"What did the doctor say?" saked Anne.

"If I'm not careful, I will be blind in six months!"

Anne was shocked.

Marilla started crying.

That night, Anne sat alone in her bedroom.

She thought and thought for a long time.

Before she went to sleep, she had made a plan.

The next morining, Anne told her plan to Marilla.
다음날 아침, 앤은 마릴라에게 계획을 말했다.
"You can't sell Green Gables.
"너는 Green Gables를 팔수 없어.
It's our home!

Just listen, I have a great idea.

I won't go to Redmond College; it's too far away.

"Redmond doesn't matter," laughed Anne.

A few days later, Mrs. Lynde came to visit.
몇일 뒤에, 리네드 부인은 방문하려고 왔다.
She had some good news.
그녀는 좋은 뉴스를 가지고 있었다.
"Did you know that Gilbert decided to leave his job?" she said.
"너는 길버트가 그의 직업을 떠날려고 하는 것을 알고 있니?" 그녀가 말했다.
"Why did he do that?" asked Anne.
"그는 왜 그 직업을 떠날려고해?" 앤이 물었다.
"When he heard about your plans, he decided to give up his job," siad Mrs. Lynde.
"그가 너희들에 계획에 대해서 들었고, 그는 그의 직업을 결정했어," 리네드 부인이 말했다.
"That way, you can be the teacher at Avonlea.
"너는 Avonlea에서 선생을 할수 있어.
Then you can live at Green Gables."
너는 Green Gables에서 살 수 있어.
"Oh!" said Anne, surprised.
"오!" 앤은 놀라면서 말했다.
"That's very nice of him!"
"그는 매우 좋아!"
Later that day, Anne was walking by the river.
그 다움날, 앤은 강을 걸어다녔다.
She saw Gilbert.
그녀는 길버트를 봤다.
Anne stopped and waved at him.
앤은 멈추고 그에게 손을 흔들었다.
"Gilbert," she said softly.
"길버트," 그녀는 부르럽게 말했다.
"What you did was very sweet.
"너는 매우 즐거워 보여.
Thank you very much."
너는 많이 고마워."

- "I'm happy to help you Anne," said Gilbert.

"I'm sure we're going to be very good friends," siad Gilbert.
"틀림없이 우리는 좋은 친구야," 길버트가 말했다.
"Can I walk you home?"
"내가 너의 집까지 걸어갈 수 있어?"
When Anne came into the kitchen at Green Gables, Marilla said, "You look very happy, Anne.
앤은 Green Gables에 있는 주방으로 들어와서, 마릴라에게 말했다, "앤, 너는 매우 행복해 보여.
Was that Gilbert who came home with you?"
길버트가 너와 함께 집으로 왔니?"
"Yes, Marilla," said Anne.
"네, 마릴라," 앤이 말했다.
Her face was red.
그 여자의 얼굴은 빨개졌다.
"Gilbert and I decided to be friends.
"길버트와 나는 확실한 친구야.
Oh, Marilla, I think life is going to be good for all of us!
오, 마릴라, 나는 내 생각에 삶이란 것은 우리에게 좋아 질거에요!
We have each other, and we'll keep our Green Gables!
우리는 각각 다른것을 가지고 있고, 우리는 Green Gables을 유지할거야!
What could be better than that?"
그것보다 뭐가더 좋을까?"
