- Walking on the water
물 위를 걷다
The apostles were in a boat far out in the lake.
예수님의 제자들은 보트를 타고 호수밖으로 멀리 나갔다.
Before dawn, the boat was hit by some big waves.
해가 뜨기전, 그 보트는 큰 파도의 충격을 받았다.
Then the apostles saw a figure moving toward them on top of the water.
그때 그 제자들은 한 물체가 물위에서 자신들쪽으로 오는것을 봤다.
"It is a ghost!" they called out.
유령이다! 그들은 소리쳤다.
"Do not be afraid," said Jesus.
두려워하지마라. 예수님이 말했다.
it was Jesus walking on the waves toward the boat.
예수님은 파도위를 걸어서 보트쪽으로 갔다.
"If it is really you, Master,"said Peter.
진짜 당신이군요. 예수님. 피터가 말했다.
"Let me walk on the water to meet you."
저를 만나기위헤 물위를 걸어오셨군요.
"Come," said Jesus.
"이리와" 예수님이 말했다.
Peter stepped out of the boat.
피터는 보트에서 내렸다.
He began to walk on the water toward Jesus.
그는 물위를 걸어 예수님쪽으로 가기 시작했다.
He did not sink!
그는 물속에 빠지지 않았다.
But when he saw the wind, he became afraid.
그러나 그는 바람을 봤을때, 그는 두려워졌다.
Peter suddenly started to sink.
피터는 갑자기 물속으로 빠지기 시작했다.
"Save me Lord!" he cried.
살려주세요 예수님! 그는 소리쳤다.
Jesus reached out his hand and grabbed him.
예수님은 그의 손을 내밀어 그를 잡았다.
" you only have a little faith," said Jesus.
너는 아주 작은 믿음을 가지고 있구나, 예수님이 말했다.
All the apostles were amazed.
모든 제자들이 깜짝 놀랐다.
They realized that Jesus was truly the Son of God.
그들은 예수님이 하느님의 아들이라는것을 깨달았다.

- Jesus Comes Back
예수님 되돌아 오다
Three days after Jesus died, Mary Magdelene and two women came with spices and perfumes for Jesus' body.
예수님이 돌아가신지 3일째 되는날에 마그달린과 2명의 여자들이 예수님의 몸에 향신료를 뿌리기위해 예수님의 무덤으로 갔다.
When they arrived at the tomb, they were surprised.
그들이 무덤에 도착했을때, 그들은 깜짝놀랐다.
The stone was rolled away from the tomb.
그 돌이 무덤 옆으로 옮겨져있었다.
Next to the entrance was a figure in white robes.
무덤의 입구옆에 하얀색 가운이 놓여져있었다.
Light seemed to come from its body.
빛은 예수님이 다시 돌아오심을 봤다.
"Do not fear," said the angel.
두려워하지마라 천사가 말했다.
"I have come to tell you that Jesus is not here.
나는 너희들에게 예수님은 여기에 없다고 말하기위해 왔다.
He had risen from dead.
그는 죽음에서 부활했다.
Go, and tell the apostles.
가자 제자들에게 말하러,
When Mary found the apostles and told them the news, they did not believe her.
마리가 제자들을 찾아 이 소식을 말해주었을떄, 그들은 그녀의 말을 믿지않았다.
Only Peter and John ran back to the tomb with her.
오직 피터와 요한만 그녀와 함께 무덤으로 달려왔다.
There, the two men saw that the tomb was empty.
그곳에서 두명의남자들은 무덤이 비어있음을 확인했다.
All that remained of Jesus' body was the cloth that had been wrapped around him.
모든 예수님의 몸은 그대로 남아있었고, 그들은 예수님의 몸을 감쌌다.
That night, the eleven remaining apostles sat down to dinner.
그날밤, 11명의 제자들은 저녁식사를 했다.
Peter and john had told them what had happened.
피터와 요한은 무슨일이 일어났었는지 그들에게 말했다.
Suddenly, a bright light filled the room as Jesus walked into it.
갑자기 방안이 밝은빛으로 채워지고 그 빛에서 예수님이 걸어나오셨다.

- Jesus cmals a Storm
예수님이 폭풍을 잠잠하게 하다
When Jesus came to the Sea of Galilee, there were many people who wanted to hear him.
예수님이 갈릴리 바닷가에 왔을때, 그곳에는 예수님의 말씀을 듣기를 원하는 사람들이 많이 있었다.
So he told his apostles to take a boat and row him a little way into the lake.
그래서 그는 그의 제자들에게 보트에서 내려 호수안에 작은 길로 가라고 말했다.
From there, he could speak to all the people on the shore.
그곳에서, 그는 사람들에게 말할수 있었다.
Evening came, and Jesus ended his teaching.
저녁이 왔을때, 예수님은 그의 이야기를 마쳤다.
People were still around him, and there was no time for him to rest.
사람들은 아직까지도 그의 주변에서 그를위해 쉬지않는다.
Jesus said to his apostles, "Let us cross over to the other side of the lake so what we can be alone,
예수님은 그의 제자들에게 말했다, 우리들을 호수 건너편으로 가게 해달라.
Soon, it became a very dark.
곧, 어두워졌다.
When they were halfway across, a storm rose up.
그들이 중간쯤 호수를 지났을때.폭풍이 몰아치기 시작했다.
The wind blew strongly, and the waves rose like mountains.
그 바람은 굉장히 세고, 파도는 마치 산만큼이나 컸다.
The apostles were afraid the boat would turn over.
그 제자들은 배가 침몰할까 두려워졌다.
At first, the apostles did not want to wake him, but soon they grew too afraid.
처음에 제자들은 그를 잠에서 깨우고싶지 않았지만, 그들은 점점더 두려워졌다.
They awoke Jesus and said, Master, we are sinking.
그들은 예수님께 말했다, 예수님 우리가 지금 물에 빠지고 있어요.
Jesus stood up He looked out across the waves.
예수님은 일어났다. 그는 파도를 가로질렀다,
"Be still," said Jesus.
잠잠해져라, 예수님이 말했다.
The wind dead, and the sea beacame calm.
바람은 잠잠해졌고, 바다도 잠잠해졌다.
"Why were you afraid?" he asked them.
왜 두려워 하느냐? 그가 그들에게 물었다.
"Do you not have any faith in me?
나에 대한 믿음이 하나도 없는거냐?
The apostles just looked at Jesus in wonder.
제자들은 깜짝놀라 예수님만 쳐다봤다.

예수님이 아픈 사람을 치료하다.
Jesus went from village to town.
예수님이 시골마을에 갔다.
telling the people how god wanted them to live.
사람들에게 말했다
예수님이 말했다. 사람들을 살리길 하나님이원하신다
Many people were impressed by Jesus' words.
많은사람들은 예수님의 말에 감명받았다.
Among them Jesus chose twelve young men.
예수님은 12명의 젊은 사람들에게 둘러쌓여 있었다.
They decided to give up their daily work and follow Jesus.
그들은 결심했다.그들의 일을 주겠다고. 그리고 예수님을 따라갔다.
These twelve men lived with Jesus ate with him.
이 12명의 사람들은 예수님과 함께 먹는다. 그와 함께,.
One Sunday,
한 일요일.
Jesus and the apostles went for supper to the house of Simon Peter's mother in law.
예수님과 제자들은 식사를 하고 시몬피터의 장모의 집으로 갔다.
When they arrived the old woman was sick in bed with a fever
그들이 도착했을때 나이든 여자가 열때문에 침대에 누워있었다.
Jesus took her hand and held it for a moment.
예수님은 말했다. 그녀의 손을 잡고
Then the woman got up out of bed.
그때 여자는 침대에서 일어났다.
Her fever was gone.
그녀의 열이 없어진 것이다.
Smiling,she went to fix dinner for the men..
웃었다. 그녀는 저녁식사를 그들에게 대접했다.
By that evening.
저녁이 되었다.
the story of the miracle had spread around the town.
기적이 일어났다는 이야기가 마을에 퍼졌다.
Many sick people wanted to meet Jesus.
많은 사람들이 예수님을 만나길 원했다.
They hoped Jesus could make them well again.
그들은 예수님이 다시 치료할수있기를 희망했다.
A large crowd of people gathered around the house.
많은 사람들이 그집 (피터의장모의집) 으로 갔다.
Jesus went outside.
예수님이 밖으로 나왔다.
He put his hands on the sick people and cured them.
그는 그의 손을잡았디. 그리고 아픈사람들과 그들을 치료했다.
Their colds disappeared,and their headaches went away.
그들의 감기는 완전히 없어졌고 그들의 두통도 없어졌다.
