By going slowly, I was able to make my way to the Count's window
곁애 갔다 천천히 난 능력있는 나의 길을 만들거다 창문에서
Soon I was standing on the windowsill, opening the window
곧 난 서잇는체 창받침을 열고 창문으로
I slid through the window feet first
난 미끄러졋었다 창문을 꿰뚥어 첫번째로
The room was empty!
공허한방!
It was barely furnished and littered with odd things that seemed never to have been used
이것은 간신히 가구가밀린 그리고 들것모양의 함께 기수 생각중 영원할걸로 보이다
Everything in it was covered with dust
모든생각 안에 감춰진 먼지티끝이 함께한다
At one corner of the rooom was a heavy door
하나의 모퉁이에 있는 방문은 무거운문이다
I found that it led through a stone passage to a circular stairway
난 기초를 두다 이것에 이끌리다 돌을 꿰뜱어 통과에서 원형의 둥근 계단
As the bottom was a dark, tunnel-like passage

- As I went through the passage, I noticed a bad smell that grew closer and stronger as I walked along

At last I opened a heavy door that stood ajar
마지막 무거운 문을 난열었다 조금씩 열린다
I found myself in an old chapel that had evidently been used as a burial place
난 나자신에 기초를 두다 허름한 에베당 분명히 매장한 당소다
Inside the chapel were 50 boxes shaped like coffins
안쪽 예재당에 50개의 상자가 관의모양을 한것처럼 보인다
Each one was filled with freshly dug earth
각자의 한명의 소녀와 함게 생생하게 지구
In one of the boxes, stretched out an a pile of earth, lay the Count!
하나의 박스가 밖에 늘이다 더미에서 지구에 눕히다
He was either dead or asleep
그는 어느한쪽이든 잠들어 죽는다
I could not say which
난 어느쪽이든 말할수없었다
His eyes were open and stony and his lips were as red as ever
그의 눈은 열려있고 그리고 돌 그리고 그의 립스는 빨갛다
But there was no sign of life-no pulse, no breath, no beating of the heart!
하지만 거기엔 기호가 없고 생명도 없고 호홉도 없고 때림도 없는 심장!

Exhausted, I threw myself on the bed and tried to think

June 29 I was awakened by the Count
6월29일 난 잠에서 깼다
He told me that I would be going home tomorrow

I do not trust him

I am not sure what he is planning, but I do not believe he will let me go home

There was a low, sweet ripple of laughter

June 30 morning With the dawn, I knew that I was safe

I was determined to get out of the castld today
난 결심을 얻고 밖에서 강박웃음을 하며 오늘을
Knowing that the front door would be loocked as always, I decided to find the key
알고있는 그때 정면의 문을 열것이다 언제나 난 명확하게 열쇠를 찾을것이다
Now I knew where to find the monster who kepw the key
지금 난 알고있다 어디에 잇는지 몬스터를 찾아 누가 강박웃음을 하며 열쇠를 얻을것인가
The earth-filled box was in the same place
지구의 모든사람들 소녀가 상자를 마찬가지의 장소에

His mouth was redder than ever
그의 입은 살충제보다 더하다
On his lips were trickles of fresh blood
그의 입술은 새로운 피가 뚝뚝 떨어진다
I had to search him, or I was lost
난 찾다 그를 난 읽어버렷다
I shuddered as I bent to my task
난 오싹하다 난 임무가 좋다
But try as I might, I could not find the key
하지만 시도일지라도 난 할수없었다 난 키를 찾아야된다
Then I stopped and looked at the Count,s face
