-government, language, flag, national anthem, major religions, climate, population, currency

             -cultural etiquette, sports, dance, pop culture, traditional clothes/costumes, food

             -Highlights/People = Northern Ireland disputes, folk tales, St. Patrick’s Day, Bono, Enya; leprechauns

Activity: Holidays- St. Patrick’s Day. Why do people celebrate this? What do they do? Students will all be given something green to wear.
