In this week’s English class, we focused on the topic of Volunteer Work. The students read a short passage about different types of volunteer activities and the positive impact they can have on communities. This theme not only helped them learn new vocabulary, but also encouraged meaningful discussion about helping others and being active members of society.

As part of our lesson, we also explored how to correctly use prepositions of place, such as at, in, and on. The students practiced identifying where different volunteer activities take place, using these prepositions in context. For example, we talked about helping at a food bank, volunteering in a hospital, or cleaning up on the beach. Through interactive exercises and sentence-building activities, the children gained a better understanding of how to use these prepositions correctly in everyday English.
