    - Chased by a bat!
The moth flies out of the tree when the sun goes down.

Most birds sleep at night so the moth does not need to keep hiding from the birds.

    Bats and Snakes at Night

The moth still has to be careful.

Bats also come out when the sun goes down.

A bat can catch a moth in the air and eat it.

But most moths are quick and can duck into a bush to hide from a bat.

The moth joins other moths as they fly around a light.

Then the moth hears a squeak.

    Look! It’s a bat!

The bat heads toward the moth so the moth ducks into some grass to hide.

Just then, a snake sees the moth and slithers towards it.

Quickly, the moth flies away from the snake.

The Clicking Sounds of the Bat

Another moth flutters in the dark and a bat chases it.

The bat makes clicking sounds with its mouth.

The sound bounces off the moth and echoes back to the bat.

The echo helps the bat find the moth in the darkness.

The bat swoops at the moth but the quick moth escapes just in time!

Remember the way you made me feel

    Such young love but

Something in me knew that it was real

    Frozen in my head

Pictures I’m living through for now

Trying to remember all the good times

Our life was cutting through so loud

Memories are playing in my dull mind

I hate this part paper hearts

And I’ll hold a piece of yours

Don’t think I would just forget about it

Hoping that you won’t forget about it

Everything is gray under these skies

    Wet mascara

Hiding every cloud under a smile

    When there’s cameras

And I just can’t reach out to tell you

That I always wonder what you’re up to

Pictures I’m living through for now

Trying to remember all the good times

Our life was cutting through so loud

Memories are playing in my dull mind

I hate this part paper hearts

And I’ll hold a piece of yours

Don’t think I would just forget about it

    Hoping that you won’t forget

I live through pictures as if I was right there by your side

But you’ll be good without me and if I could just give it some time

    I’ll be alright

Goodbye love you flew right by love

Pictures I’m living through for now

Trying to remember all the good times

Our life was cutting through so loud

Memories are playing in my dull mind

I hate this part paper hearts

And I’ll hold a piece of yours

Don’t think I would just forget about it

    Hoping that you won’t forget

    - Adele - Someone Like You(영어 숙제)
I heard that you're settled down

That you found a girl and you're married now

I heard that your dreams came true

Guess she gave you things I didn't give to yo

Old friend, why are you so shy?

Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light

I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited

    But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it

I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded

That for me, it isn't over

Never mind, I'll find someone like you

I wish nothing but the best for you, too

Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said

Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead

Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead

You know how the time flies

Only yesterday was the time of our lives

We were born and raised in a summer haze

Bound by the surprise of our glory days

I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited

    But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it

I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded

That for me, it isn't over

Never mind, I'll find someone like you

I wish nothing but the best for you, too

Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said

Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead, yeah

Nothing compares, no worries or cares

Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made

Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

Never mind, I'll find someone like you

I wish nothing but the best for you

Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said

Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead

Never mind, I'll find someone like you

I wish nothing but the best for you, too

Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said

Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead

    - Chased by a bat!
The moth gets away because it also can hear the clicking sounds.

The moth knows that the bat is chasing it.

When the bat flutters close to the moth, the moth darts away.

When the bat gets close again, the moth swoops away.

At last, the bat gives up and chases after a different moth.

    Moths at Night

Lots of moths are out at night.

The bats chase after the moths and the moths dodge the bats.

Most bats are good at chasing and most moths are good at dodging!

But the bats need to eat.

    - Chased by a bat!
Here is one trick that moths can use to get away from bats.

When a bat makes clicking sounds, the moth can make the same sounds.

Then the bat does not know if the moth is a moth or another bat!

Because the bat is confused, the moth can get away.

    Morning at Last!

    Soon it is morning.

The bats fly away to their homes to sleep.

The moths go to sleep, too.

But when the sun goes down that evening, the moths will get chased by the bats all over again.

    - Where Is Gus-Gus?
I put Oscar on a leash.

Wes put his pet rabbit in a box, and Maribel put her hamster in a cage.

Andy held his cat in a cat carrier, and Simon made sure his monkey sat on a chair and did not move.

Then we took turns sharing our pets with Grandma and her friends.

Oscar and I waited for our turn.

That's when I noticed that my puppy Gus-Gus was missing.

    I looked at Mom.

She had just been holding him on a leash.

"Where is Gus-Gus?" I whispered to her.

Suddenly, Mom looked surprised and a little worried.

For a short moment, everyone was quiet.

And everyone heard Mom whisper to Grandma, "Where is Gus-Gus?"

    - Where Is Gus-Gus?
Everyone looked for Gus-Gus. Wes and his rabbit looked under the chairs in the living room, but Gus-Gus was not there. Andy and his cat looked in the kitchen, but Gus-Gus was not there. Maribel and her hamster looked in the garden, but Gus-Gus was not there either. Simon's monkey looked everywhere that was up high. He checked the tops of all the closets and bookshelves. He even climbed the trees outside. No one could find Gus-Gus! Grandma was grtting tired. ) "I need to take a nap," she said. "Don't worry about Gus-Gus. I'm sure you will find him." Mom and Grandma went to her room. Everyone else kept into the living room. She had a big smile on her face. (그녀는 그녀의 얼굴에 큰 미소를 지었다) "How can you be happy when Gus-Gus is lost?" I anked. "I'm sure Gus-Gus is fine," she said.
"Grandma wants a kiss fro you before she falls asleep."

    - Where Is Gus-Gus?
Grandma was almost asleep when I reached her bed. But I noticed that she was smiling, too. I leaned over to kiss her and that's when I noticed the small lump in her bed. It was a very strange lump! I touched the lump and it moved. The lump moved toward the edge of the bed, so I lifted the covers. Gus-Gus looked up at me and licked my face! He had been hiding under the covers again!
