- Uncle Rabbit was known throughout the land as rascal.
uncle rabbit은 땅지에서는 악동이다
He was always playing tricks and stirring up trouble.

He would tease people and brag about how he could outsmart anyone.

Finally, the king decided that he had had enought of uncle rabbit and his tricks.

So the king met with his adviesers.
그래서 그 왕은 그를 만나면 고문을 한다고 한다
"We must do something about uncle rabbit," he said.

The king`s advisers talked first of one plan and then of another.

At last one adviser said, "Let`s go hide at the water hole, where all the animals go to drink.

When incle rabbit gets thirsty, he will go to the water hole.
그떄 uncle rabbit은 목말랐다 그는 물웅덩이에 갔다
then we can catch him and bring him to the king"

- The advisers thought his was a good plan.
그 조언자들은 그의 좋은 계획을 생각했다
What they did not know was that uncle Rabbit was hiding right behind the bushes.

He laughed as he hopped off in the direction of the water hole.

In a little while, he came to shoe shop.
곧 그는 신발가게에 갔다
he spied a fine pair of shoes that the shoemaker had placed in front of his shop.

"Good morning," said Uncle Rabbit as he approached the shoemaker .

"That sounds like a good idea .

A drink of warter would cool me off ."
물을 마시면 시원해 질거야
The shoemaker went into his shop .
그 신발장수는 가게안에 들어갈거다
As soon as he was inside, uncle Rabbit grabbed the pair of shoes.
곧 그는 안에 들어갔고 Uncle Rabbit은 신발을 들고 갔다
Then he hopped toward the water hole
그떄 그는 물 웅덩이쪽으로 갔다

He dropped one of the fine shoes in the middle of the road
그는 떨어진 한짝의 신발을 찾고는 가운데의 길을 갔다
Then he ran to hide in a little tunnel by the roadside

He dropped the other shoe in the middle of the road and hid again
