엔드류는 그 스스로 긴의자에 던졌다 그리고 한숨을 쉬며 말한다
" How was school today?" Dad asked
오늘 학교에서 무슨일 있었니? 아빠는 물었다
"All right I guess" Andrew replied
난 모든것을 정확히 추측 할 수 있어요 엔드류는 대답한다
We're doing a project whit a school in the united states
우리는 학교에서 미국의 삶에 대한 과제를 했어요
We have to write letters to pen pals
우리는 펜팔에게 편지 쓰기를 했어요
It's is bothersome
이것은 성가셨어요
That doesn't sound too hard said bad
그것은 좋지 않은 소리구나 아빠가 말했다
I don't have anything to write about said Andrew
나는 쓰는 모든것을 하고 싶지 않아요 엔드르는 대답했다

=> 'Your pen pal might not think so' said Dad.
bad가 아니라 dad겠죠? ^^

너는 미국에 삶에 대한 삶을 듣기를 원하니?
=> 여기서 about는 life에 걸리니까 '미국에서의 삶에 대하여'라고 해석되겠죠?
그래서 고치면;
너는 미국에서의 삶에 대해 듣기를 원하니?
"Yes of course" i do said Andrew.
네 당연하죠 엔드류는 말했다
=> "Yes, of course, i do." said Andrew.
여기서 I do는 I want to hear를 대신하고 있습니다.
그래서 I do까지 해석하면 '네, 당연하죠, 나는 듣고 싶어요'라고 앤드류가 말했다.

너의 펜팔도 아마 똑같이 느낄지도 모른다 아빠가 말했다
=> "Then your pen pal probably feels the same way" said Dad.
여기도 bad가 아니라 Dad겠죠?
Now let's go pick up mom
지금 가서 엄마에게 알아봐라
=> 여기서 pick up은 '차로 데려가다' 정도의 뜻으로 보아야 할 것 같네요.
그래서 고치면;
'이제 엄마를 데리러 가자'
She dropped her car at the garage for repairs
그녀는 차를 정원에 떨어뜨려서 수리를 받았어
=> garage는 '차고'라는 뜻도 되지만 '자동차 정비소'라는 뜻도 될 수 있어요. 그리고 drop은 '떨어뜨리다'라는 뜻이 기본이기는 하지만, 이런 경우에는 '~에 가져다 놓다/두다' 정도의 뜻이 됩니다.
그래서 고치면;
'엄마는 수리를 위해 그녀의 차를 정비소에 가져다 두었다'라는 뜻. ^^
