- Spider, Skunk, Squirrel, and Goose wanted to go swimming.

They walked over to Chipmunk's house to invite theirfriendalong.

They walked and walked and walked.

But where was chipmunk's house? "Chipmunk?" called Spider.

He climbed out of a muddy hole.

"The rain washed my old home away," said Chipmunk.

"I have to dig a new burrow," said Chipmunk.

Spider,Skunk, Squirrel and Goose knew what they had to do.
거미,스컹크,다람쥐와기러기 오리과의조류. 그들은 하는지를알고 있었다.
"Let us help you," said Squirrel.
"우리가 너를 도와줄께,"다람쥐는 말했다
"We can allwork on your burrow."
우리모두가 너의 굴에서 일을 할수있다.
So the friends helped Chipmunk.
그래서 친구들은 다람쥐를 도와 주었다.
They dug and dug and dug.

At last, Chipmunk cried, "We're done! Our work is complete!"

But Goose said "Not yet. We still have to decorate."

Spider spun her silk in to thread.
거미의 실을 꿰기 위해 실크가 나가 떨어졌다.
Skunk and spider used the thread to make curtains and a smallrug.
스컹크와거미는 커튼과 작은 양탄자를 만들어 실을 사용했다.
Squirrel gathered nuts and seeds.
다람쥐는 견과류와 씨앗을 모았다
Goose used her feathers to make a blanket and pillow.
거위는 담요, 그리고 베개를 만들기 위해 자신의 깃털을 사용했다.
Then they gave their gifts to chipmunk.
그리고나서 그들은 다람쥐에게 선물을 주었다
Spider said "I would like to give you this rug."

"Thank you!" said Chipmunk.

"It is a very fine rug. I will put it in the middle of my burrow."

"I love them," said Chipmunk.

"I feel so lucky to have friends like you," Chipmunk said.

"You are invited visit any time."

"And you are invited to come swimming!" said Skunk.
그리고 수영장에 오도록 초청받았어! 스컹크는 말했다
So they ran down to the lake and all jumped in to the water together.
그래서 그들이 그 호수로 모두함께 물에뛰어들어갔다.

- This is a story about Lena and her garden.
레나와 그녀의 정원에 관한 이야기이다
Lena was moving to a new neighborhood.
레나는아침에 새로운 이웃이되었다
She was sad about moving because she had to leave her garden.
그녀는 집정원을 떠나야했기때문에 그녀는 움직이는것에대해 슬펐다
"This is the best garden in the world,"she said.
"이것은 세상에서 제일 멋진 정원이라고,"그녀는 말했다.
"I shall miss it!" Lena had planted all kinds of flowers and she loved to watch them bloom.
난 그것을 놓친다!"레나와 그녀가 그들의 꽃을 피우고 구경하는것을 좋아했다 여러가지 꽃을 심었다.
She had also planted a few berry bushes.
그녀는 또한 몇개의 딸기덤불을 심었다.
She gave the plants water and pulled out the weeds.

Whenever she saw a sick plant, she tried make it better.
때마다 그녀는 병든 식물을 보고, 더 나아지게 할려고 했다.
Lena looked out the window at her garden.
레나는 그녀의 정원을 창문으로 바라보았다.
She knew that a new family was going to buy the house.
그녀는 새로운 가족이 집을 살줄 알았다.
She wondered if the new owners would know how to take care of her garden.
새 소유주들이 어떻게 그녀의 정원을 돌보는 법을 알까 궁금했다.
