[2219 정승재] Recently, as the social status of young people has risen, there is an opinion that 18-year-olds should be given the right to vote. Of course, students will also be able to independently engage in political activities. But I do not agree with your opinion.
Ultimately, students will not be able to use their voting rights effectively. First of all, as you argue, students are studying only to get into college without being applied to real life. However, they live a busy life in which tests and evaluations are repeated. If students are given the right to vote under such circumstances, they may feel pressured and give upvoting. Also, in your opinion, students are less affected by historical memory than older generations. However, they have relatively little experience and knowledge of political, historical, and international activities compared to adults, so they can give up their voting rights or vote for anyone.
That said, I disagree with you because I think students will not be able to properly use their voting rights.
