I think different with you. We have already classified obesity as a disease. So, there aren't any reasons that we cannot classify game addiction as disease. Of course regulating it causes social disorders, but it caused disorders in a different sense in the past. Thus, we can classify game addiction as a disease.

First of all, I read your article well. But I think a little different from you. Regulating game addiction as a disease can form a healthier game culture and rather bring about the development of the game industry. Also, I think we can form a more mature game culture. Game addiction can be defined as a disease enough because individuals can hardly overcome by their own reason. So I agree with WHO's decision.
