1107 김지섭 You claimed that the lack of evidence is one of the reasons that I object to treating game addiction as a disease, but on the internet there are many researches , articles and thesis that claims game addiction should be classified as a disease. You also said that game relieves stress. Yes it may help to loose stress for some people but we are not talking about normal people, we are talking about the people who are addicted to games. Would they still play games focusing on reliving stress? First may be but later on they spend more hours on playing games and the purpose of playing game fades.

I have the opposite opinion with you. Even though game addiction lacks evidence, they are many cases unlike global apocalypse. So it is not right to look the same. And you're against disease classification because games relieve stress. But I don't think your opinion is appropriate because the disease classification of game addiction is not against the game itself. However, I agree with a part of your opinion. I think it is necessary for people to have the right habits about games, also.

1223 장호승 I agree with part of your opinion, but there's something I want to refute about one of your basis for your opinion. You've claimed that game can relieve stress of busy lives of modern people. Of coarse playing games for few minutes to forget a busy daily routine for a moment can be OK. But if you get addicted to games, you can become obsessed with games to the point of having problems in your daily life. Those problems which are caused by game addiction might give you another kind of stress. Also, you can get more stress by playing game to relieve stress. When game addictives lose a game, it would be hard to stop playing it until they win. And when they finally win a game, they will keep playing it to feel the thrill of winning the game, but of coarse they would lose again sometime. That's how they get stressed in the process of repeating the vicious circle.
